Preggo Marine

A couple weeks ago the squadron hosted a "Jane Wayne Day" for all the wives. Since Tom will be going on the MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) next, they had all the different groups get together to show the wives the toys from the ground side and the air side. Tom had to work the event, so I got to see him show off the static display of the Osprey. It was really neat to see him explaining the great things about the Osprey to all the people that toured around. He really knows his stuff!
I also got to take a ride on one of the ground side toys (I don't remember what it's called) wearing a helmet and flack jacket. That was a lot of fun:) They had even more things for us to do like the obstacle course and rifle and pistol range, but I decided not to participate in those because of the belly. I didn't think Grace would appreciate me rolling over logs and low-crawling through the dirt:)

Tom and I in the cockpit. Notice I'm in the driver's seat:)

Tom and me with our friends John and Erica.

The Iraqi city set up on the base. It was seriously creepy walking through here.

The girls from the squadron: Marcelle, Erin (also preggo), Erica and me.

The guys there pretty much let us do whatever we wanted after we took a ride on this thing.

Inside. And yes we carried our purses around with us all day:)

A natural don't you think?
