Water Toy

We were finally able to sell our kayak on Craigslist after a couple months of waiting for the right buyer. It had been sitting in our garage for the past 3 years and we hadn't even used it since we've been in NC. So, Tom started researching what his next water toy would be. Ever heard of a Stand Up Paddle Board?? Me neither, but we have one! It's really big in Hawaii and looks like a lot of fun. Tom found a used one online and snatched it up for a good price. Of course, he couldn't wait for it to warm up outside before he tested it out. At first he thought he'd start off slow and go to the Intercoastal Waterway a few miles from our house...

After paddling around for about 20 minutes, Tom decided that he was ready for some waves. So, we loaded the truck back up and drove across the street to the beach side to try it out. I wish I could've gotten more pictures of him out in the ocean, but I was snuggled up in a blanket on the beach trying to stay warm. He only got toppled a couple times;)
