Craig’s Cherry TAC Ride

On 10 August I had the scariest and most enjoyable flight to date. My buddy Craig, call sign Shank, was the first of us “Pure Blood Osprey Pilots” to receive the Aircraft Commander Designation. So instead of a friendly warm up flight, they gave us the 5 hour, NVG, flight to the East. This was actually the first time Craig and I have ever flown together. The flight went great and outside of Old Man Craig’s stomach issues, we had no problems (he’s old and has those kind of problems frequently). You can see how excited he was by how he lets the aircraft violate him! I’m now in the TAC syllabus behind him and if the weather and aircraft hold out I should be having my “Cherry Ride” very soon.

Tom! You guys look great:) And I am forever indebted to your wife for keeping me company in Atlanta---you're one lucky guy, but I bet you already knew that.
