One cool thing that Tom gets to do on a semi-regular basis is show the visiting celebrities around the squadron and aircraft. These are just two of the ones that have visited them in the past month.
A country music singer, Granger Smith (the one next to Tom), and his crew came by to visit the troops and give their support. For those of you that haven't heard of him, Granger is a big star in Texas, where he went to school at A & M. Look up his song "We Bleed Maroon" online and take a listen. He's pretty good.
I only have one word for you..."Toepick." Can you guess who the celebrity is? It's DB Sweeney, the actor that was in the ice skating movie, The Cutting Edge. Tom said he toured the aircraft for over an hour and a half. He was very impressed!
