Baby Shower

My friends Meg, Erica and Kaiti were so great to throw a baby shower for little Grace last week. They decked out the pavilion on the beach and set up the best baby shower I have ever seen! I couldn't believe all the work they put into making this day so special. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you girls for making me feel so loved! You're the best:) We even hung out on the beach after the shower was over and tried to get some sun. It turned out to be a gorgeous day.

My Mom, Samantha and Nick along with Tom's parents and Brittany were all able to come up to NC to help celebrate. After 3 days of waiting for the weather to clear and countless hurried phone calls, Tom was able to join us on Friday. I had to pick him up an hour away from the base and drive back into town just so he was able to attend the 3D/4D ultrasound appointment we had scheduled (then cancelled and re-scheduled). I'm so glad that he was able to be there to "see" Grace. Those ultrasounds are amazing!! We were able to see her moving around, opening her eyes and smiling:) It was really neat to see that it looks like Grace has gotten Tom's beautiful lips. Angelina Jolie better watch out!
